The Distributed Computing & Communications DCC Laboratory of Columbia University pursues experimental research of networked systems. Our goal is to develop fundamental novel networking technologies and maximize their impact by exporting them to industry and academia. Technologies developed by the lab in the past have been widely used at hundreds of sites and commercialized by a number of companies. DCC lab graduates have been cofounders of six high technology companies.
