The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh has a growing database group. It is part of the Laboratory for the Foundations of Computer Science; it leads the research activities of the Digital Curation Centre; and it has connections with the National eScience Centre and other organizations involved with scientific databases. The group participates in the DELOS Network of Excellence on Digital Libraries.
