Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering E&CE. The mission of the Department is the pursuit of excellence in teaching and research in the area of Information Communication Technology ICT. The Department offers taught programmes at Bachelors and Masters level, together with research programmes at Masters and Doctoral level. These programmes are designed to prepare graduates to pursue careers as electronic or computer professionals, or if they wish to pursue careers as research specialists. As electronics and computing now plays a vital role in every aspect of society, a degree in the strategically important Information Communication Technology area provides a strong foundation for a wide variety of careers.
